Netstripes is holding their first Bizruption for 2019 in February at The Star and they’re especially excited to be launching the inaugural Digital Innovation Advocate Awards at the event. The awards acknowledge partners in innovation, industry organisations, and local government bodies for their outstanding commitment to support Small Business Digital Innovation in their community in 2019.
Along with the awards, the meeting will feature informative speakers, energetic presenters, a congenial atmosphere, and opportunities to pitch your business and network with like-minded people.
Each event is held at a different location in Sydney, allowing attendees to experience a variety of spaces and giving each meeting a unique feel. The February event is being held at Marquee, a popular bar and night club venue that easily transforms into a function space for private bookings. It’s got a relaxed ambience, taking the stiff, corporate edge off business meetings, and creating the right mood for mingling and making connections. Apart from industry speakers, one of the regular features of a Bizruption meeting is the Speed Pitching session. Attendees are split into small groups in which each member in turn has one minute to give an elevator pitch about their business. The winners from each group (determined by the members) then line up for the pitch play-off. It’s a good way to hone your pitching skills, plus there are prizes for the best pitch.
