After a fruitful 18-year history, we farewell the Sydney Morning Herald Growers Market this coming Saturday April 2. Starting from humble beginnings as one of Sydney’s first farmers’ markets, the event has grown to become an integral part of Sydney’s market culture.

The Star has hosted an array of eclectic and spectacular performing artists over the years, adding to Sydney’s vibrant nightlife and successful creative pursuits. There’s always a lot to look forward to, and this month we’re super excited to see appearances from some world-class artists.

Two years ago, UTS Civil Engineering and Business student Michael Childs created his own startup business selling affordable wine racks and wine storage systems. Today, the business is one of Australia’s leading wine storage providers.
