Culture At Work
Paul Kemp Exhibition 2016
Launch Saturday 5th November 2016, 2-4pm
Open daily 11am to 3pm until Friday 11 November 2016 / FREE
Accelerator Gallery,  6-8 Scott Street Pyrmont

Paul Kemp has developed a sustained, articulate vision of the natural over the last 33 years. He takes the phenomena of sky, wood, rock and water, and distils them to a harmonious essence. Like a fugue in music or rhyme and rhythm in poetry all of nature is themed, unified by fundamental forces. These forces are physically organising, determining the structure of natural forms.

The 2016 Zunz Lecture – Electric Planet
3 November 2016
6:00 PM
Turbine Hall, Powerhouse Museum
The 2016 Zunz Lecture will explore our changing energy needs, changing climate expectations, and changing technology, particularly as it relates to our cities, our communities and our built environment.
We look forward to switching on the electric planet, thriving on accessible and reliable energy, whilst pushing emissions ever closer to nil. Could that energy come from hydrogen? What are the prospects for solar and wind? Is there a transition path the community can accept – and a vision for the future we might embrace?
