With innovative new startups popping up all around Sydney and the Pyrmont Ultimo precinct, they can’t all be housed in suburban garages a la Steve Jobs. This month in Starting Up we look at flexible workspace Wotso WorkSpace.

Wotso WorkSpace in the heart of Pyrmont offers an innovative setup for tech-savvy professionals who are looking to work in a contemporary, open-planned environment.  The flexible workspace offers a variety of customisable spaces including private offices, collaborative spaces, meeting rooms and event areas.

From self-employed freelancers to startups, established businesses and everything in between, there are a range of available plans to suit clients on a casual, semi-permanent and full-time basis.

There are a range of facilities available at Wotso, including a research laboratory that is versatile and able to be reconfigured to suit specific needs, in conjunction with Waldner Laboratory systems. For the creatives, a photography and film studio is available for any creative project, complete with sound and light controlled features, a green screen, dressing room and equipment storage.

Working parents rejoice! A day care facility, Wotso Wabbits, is also on location to ensure the little ones have somewhere close-by to play while you work. Along with any good workplace, the location offers plenty of space to relax, including communal benches, day beds and soft-searing areas. There’s also space to play – challenge a co-workers to a game of ping pong or sit back and read a magazine in your break.  Parking, storage lockers and printing stations are also available and there is never a shortage of complementary tea, coffee and biscuits.
