It’s going to be a season of delight for all the senses at The Star this Spring as they present Spectacular – a festival of delicacies, magic, thrills and surprises.
Throughout September, October and up to November 12, visitors to The Star complex can enjoy themed specials at some of the finest restaurants with the possibility of some side show entertainment.
Try a little BLACK Magic at the astounding BLACK Bar and Grill where wizard of the galley, Dany Karam has conjured up an enchanting menu. Be amazed by The Star’s resident magician on Thursday and Friday evenings. If you’re not afraid of spirits, make sure you arrive early and enjoy a Black Magic cocktail.
Balla will be serving Spectacular Seafood lunch throughout the period, with Executive Chef Gabriele Taddeucci showing he’s got a few culinary tricks up his sleeve.
If you’d prefer a bespoke meal prepared by a master chef, book one of the special set menu evenings:
– Tender Stories with Scott Pickett & Dany Karam at BLACK Bar & Grill | 25 Oct 6:30pm | $185 pp. A modern menu with a touch of nostalgia.
– An Italian Affair with Balla & LuMi Bar & Dining | Mon 16 Oct, 6:30pm | $175. A four-course Italian inspired meal with matching wines.
The carnival atmosphere at The Star will be enhanced by daily spontaneous street-theatre style performances including roving magicians, burlesque dancers, stilt walkers, jugglers and more every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.
A Spectacular highlight will be Melbourne Cup day with individual venues offering special menu deals, prize give-aways, giant LED screen and beverage/canape packages. Dress code: dazzling.
With 16 Mercedes-Benz cars and loads of cash making up some of the fantastic prize pool over the Spectacular season, you need to spring into The Star.
