The seventh annual Pyrmont Festival of Wine, Food and Art was officially launched with a social event at Cherry in the The Star complex on May 9th. Attended by representatives of PUCC, Mudgee Region, City of Sydney, Local MPs, media, and by residents and business owners in Pyrmont Ultimo, the event augured a successful festival.
Selected wine makers from Mudgee  provided complimentary glassfuls of their finest red, white and bubbly. The Star’s chefs prepared delicious canapes using fresh, local produce.
The speeches were gracious and genuinely positive about the festival and the cooperation required to bring it together.
It was a wonderful evening for palate, parlance and precinct pride.
