Sydney Fish Market is one of the world’s most impressive fish markets, featuring an exhaustive range of seafood. Whatever you’re after, you’ll find it at one of the six seafood retailers onsite. The Market also features a bakery, gourmet deli, greengrocer, bottle shop, fishing supplies store, gift shop, numerous restaurants and cafés, as well as Vic’s Meat Market, the famous boutique butcher.

The bustling market activity at Sydney Fish Market is a sight to behold. More than 100 varieties of seafood are sold at the early morning wholesale auction. During the cut and thrust of the daily auctions, around 20,000 kilograms of seafood are sold every hour and whisked away to Sydney’s best fishmongers and restaurants.

Alongside the traditional market activities, Sydney Fish Market launched the Sydney Seafood School in 1989. This impressive cooking school now plays host to some of the best chefs and cooking competitions in the world.
