City of Sydney is holding a series of community meetings in November to allow local residents and business owners to share their thoughts on how the city should progress in the next few decades. Sustainable Sydney 2050 looks beyond the agenda and initiatives of Sydney 2030 to further consider the expanding needs of an ever expanding city. Issues such as infrastructure, green space, quality of life, accessibility, recreation, creativity and culture can all be tabled during these participatory meetings to be held on four dates in Redfern, Glebe, Zetland and Darlinghurst respectively. Information gathered at the meetings will be used to prepare more extensive community consultation next year.
