The City Of Sydney is sponsoring a program run by the Australian Fashion Council that will give 10 local fashion designers invaluable knowledge, training, and experience, and the chance to open their first retail space. AFC
Curated Sydney 2019 takes emerging designers through a development program that includes industry mentoring, practical workshops, retail exposure, and seminars. By the end of the program, fashion designers will have the business smarts to plan and create a sustainable model, and real-world experience via pop-ups in various city spaces.
Through its Knowledge Exchange Sponsorship, The City will provide a $35,000 cash sponsorship for the Australian Fashion Council to produce the AFCCurated Sydney 2019 program, which will run during 2019.
