For the third consecutive year, The Darling at The Star has been given a Five-Star rating by the highly regarded Forbes Travel Guide. It is the highest rating awarded by the Forbes guide and The Darling is the only Sydney hotel to receive it, making it the most highly ranked hotel in the city and one of the most prestigious in the country. The 170 room boutique hotel is a free-standing glass tower that is part of The Star complex. Among its offerings are a 25 metre pool surrounded by a wide sun-deck; advanced technology gym; luxurious spa; the world class Sokyo restaurant; and incomparable views of Sydney. Many of the suites feature a bathroom with a large tub and full glass external wall so you can enjoy a scenic soak.
Forbes Travel Guide is “the only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas.” Their inspectors pay in full and never reveal their purpose – that way, they get the most authentic, everyday experience from a hotel.
The Star Sydney Chief Operating Officer Dino Mezzatesta said the team was honoured to have received the Five-Star rating for the third year in a row.
“To be ranked as one of the best hotels in the world for a third-year running is a huge achievement for our team at The Star Sydney and The Darling,” Mr Mezzatesta said.
“We are always working to ensure we find the perfect balance between offering the epitome of luxury coupled with a truly welcoming experience where we exceed guests’ expectations each, and every time.”
