It’s one of the precinct’s most beloved events and it’s just around the corner! Christmas In Pyrmont, is a proud, successful community event run by a team of dedicated elves who work tirelessly throughout the year to raise funds. It’s a big and bubbly outdoor festival with all day entertainment, stalls, food, and fun. This year’s highlights include indigenous performers, school and local choirs, cheerleaders and dancers, Taikoz Japanese drumming, ukele players and much more. Santa, as always, will make his spectacular entrance on a fire engine, and there’ll be a raffle with fantastic prizes. Lots of food and drink stalls to help keep your sustenance up, and gift stalls so you can in early with your Christmas shopping.
Money raised will go to four special charities:
Bernardos
Pyrmont Cares
Ultimo Public School
Mustard Seed Church and Uniting Harris Centre
All of whom do magnificent work in a variety of capacities.

The entire event is run by volunteers, and they need your help!
There are a number of different tasks and roles and you don’t need any special skills. Here’s a list of some of things volunteers:

collections for the Uniting Harris Centre and Mustard Seed Christmas Appeal
children’s activities
decorating the square
selling raffle tickets
setting up and packing up equipment
giving out programs and information
putting up signs
publicity, including putting up posters
spreading the word

If you feel you’d like to help out, contact the team and see what works for you. You’ll make friends, have fun, and feel like a true part of a community:
