Applications are currently open for community groups to apply for NSW government grant. The Community Building Partnership program is offering grants to local sports clubs, social groups, religious organisations, schools and other social, recreational, or support groups for small infrastructure projects.
Grants last year went to new St John’s Anglican Church hall toilets, upgrading the Australian Chinese Community Association kitchen, the Friends of the Botanic Gardens nursery upgrade, Glenmore Road Public School solar, Sloths Dragon Boating Club equipment, Woolloomooloo PCYC lift, St Francis Social Services Paddington training room, The Jewish War Memorial toilets, The Wayside Chapel refurbishments and Woollahra Council’s EJ Ward Community Centre upgrade.
