The man whose iconic lightning bolt pose has forever become the symbol of dance and disco is coming to Australia for a limited capital city tour. John Travolta will be appearing for one night only at The Star, presenting a memoir show in which he’ll share stories, memories and behind-the-scenes anecdotes gathered from a long, eventful career in show business. The evening presentation will include private videos, photos, and a Q and A session with the audience.
Travolta first drew attention in the 1970s sitcom, Welcome Back, Kotter, in which he played the sexy young Italian stud (not much acting required). His big break came with the phenomenally successful Saturday Night Fever, but he cemented his place in Australia’s heart when he starred alongside our own Libby in Grease.
With a dossier that includes awards and acclaim in acting, producing, dancing, singing – and a pilot’s license to boot – Travolta has a lot of source material for what should be a fascinating and enlightening chat.
Ticket options include Platinum and VIP packages which give you a one on one photo op with Travolta.
If you are a fan, you will not want to miss this very rare event.
